Frequently Asked Questions
What does admission cover? What activities cost extra?
The $8.00 admission covers entry to the farm for as long as you'd like to stay and includes activities such as the big playground with huge slide and sandbox, animal barn, kiddie barrel train, picnic shelters, and yard games. Certain activities require additional charges, including hayrides (year-round), corn cannon (fall only), corn mazes (fall only), haunted corn maze (October), sunflower hayrides (late summer), and Christmas hayrides (December).
Is it cash only?
We accept both cash and cards. A minimum purchase of $5.00 is required per card transaction.
Are there bathrooms?
We have three porta johns that are located at the entrance of the farm. They are cleaned out on a weekly basis.
How large is the farm? Is it stroller/wheelchair accessible?
The farm is pretty large, however most of our activities are located next together and are near a gravel pathway that is accessible for both wheelchairs and strollers.
When is the best time to visit?
There's plenty of space and lots to do; but with the NC summer heat, the best time to visit would be in the morning when we open. Our busiest weekends usually occur on holidays, or between August-October.
Do you allow pets?
Because we have barnyard animals here at the farm, and our chickens free-range the grounds, we DO NOT allow pets. Although you'll need to leave your furry friend at home, we're sure you'll love to play with our baby goats, cows, pigs, ducks, and chickens you'll find here.
Can we bring our own food/drinks? Will there be a food truck?
Unfortunately, we don't allow outside food and drinks on the farm. We offer a variety of snacks and drinks at our concession stand that we hope you'll enjoy. We also try to have at least one food truck out on Saturday's for lunch.
Do you offer group rates or military discount?
Yes, we offer a discount admission price of $6 per person for groups of 20 or more. Payment for the entire group must be made by one individual. ALL GUESTS MUST BE PRESENT AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.
Yes, we offer a discount admission price of $6 for our military/veterans. We thank you for your service!
Do you have first-aid on site?
Although we make every effort to ensure a safe visit, we understand accidents may happen! If anyone in your family gets a cut, scrape, or sting, we have a first-aid box located in the ticket office at the entrance of the farm.
Are you still open if it rains?
Please keep an eye out on our Facebook page for inclement weather closures! If we feel we can't offer a safe experience on the farm, we will have to close for the day. We will do everything possible to re-open as soon as safety and weather allows.
